Transfer Policy

In District and Out of District Transfer applications for the 2023-2024 school year will be open for submission on Wednesday, April 12, 2023.

Submitting a transfer application does not guarantee its approval.

Manor ISD Transfer Policy

  • Students are required to complete a transfer application the first year they are requesting a transfer. 

  • Once a transfer has been approved for a campus, current Manor ISD residents are NOT required to reapply for the same campus.

  • Current students who do not live within the MISD attendance boundary must submit a new application each year per board policy.

  • Transfers are approved based on board policy.

  • Applications for transfer are available at https://manorisd.schoolmint.com.

  • Applications must have requested attachments to be considered complete.
  • A transfer may be revoked during the school year if attendance, behavior, or academic expectations are no longer being met.

  • The approval of a transfer is based on space availability, 95% attendance, passing grades for the semester or year, and no In-School Suspension (ISS), Out-of-School Suspension (OSS), Disciplinary Alternative Education Program (DAEP), Juvenile Justice Alternative Education Program (JJAEP), or expulsion issues.

  • If the student transfers back to the school within the attendance zone they live in, they will be required to sit out for one year of varsity competition.

  • Manor ISD will notify parents when a transfer is approved, denied, or revoked.

Steps for Completing a Transfer

  1. Go to https://manorisd.schoolmint.com
  2. If you have already created an account, use your existing login account. If not, create an account as directed.
  3. Select MISD Transfer Application.
  4. Enter your student's information and campus request.
  5. If the student is new to Manor ISD, attach a copy of the student’s report card, attendance record and behavior record from the current school. If the student is currently attending Manor ISD, no additional documents are required.
  6. You will be notified of acceptance or denial of the transfer request in writing by June 30, 2023.
