Raquel Perez

I’m excited to be joining you as we create a high-performing education environment for our scholars!
I’m originally from Corpus Christi, Tx, and have worked as an educator in K-12 schools in the Corpus Christi, DFW, and Houston areas. I believe in setting up our little ones with success so that they have plenty of choices in their middle school, high school, and college/career years. You’ll see me in classrooms a lot! I’m an advocate for teachers because I’m an advocate for scholars!!!

I’m a proud mom to my 13-year-old son, John; my husband is a middle school counselor in Austin ISD; Chico is our loving Shorkie! I’m the youngest of 11 children and have too long of a story!  I have an affinity for change that challenges my brain with new learning. I'm looking  forward to the great work ahead!
