My name is Vanessa Moreno, and I'm excited to be your Assistant Principal at ShadowGlen Elementary School.
My journey began as a Bilingual Teacher, where I had the privilege of serving students across Prekindergarten through fourth grade in various Bilingual education program models. From Laredo to Austin and now Manor ISD, I believe education brings out the fullest potential in students and their families. I also believe that strong relationships, collaboration, and a shared vision lead to success.
Over the years, I have sought to deepen my knowledge and expand my impact. I earned a Master of Science in School Administration and a Master of Science in Educational Diagnostics, and I am currently pursuing a Doctor of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
I am a member of the Texas Association of Bilingual Educators and the Austin Area Association for Bilingual Educators, where I continue to learn and mentor others.
Today, as the Assistant Principal at Shadowglen Elementary, I carry with me the lessons of every classroom I’ve taught, every teacher I’ve coached, and every student I’ve met along the way.
